This absurd position from my most recent game (10+0 lichess) is a textbook example (albeit a bit extreme) of a spacial advantage/disadvantage. Material is even, but black is very clearly winning here.
Just spent 5 minutes as black looking for a best move and still got it wrong. Do you see it? (1450 Level) : r/chess
Okay, I might be an idiot, but I think I found a better move than the engine. Isn't promoting the pawn the better move here? (Check comments for my thought process)
Black to move and draw : r/chess
r/mathmemes thinks they're smarter than us how do we show them they're wrong : r/AnarchyChess
Fuck the cheating scandal, I want to see what decides chess.com brilliant moves. : r/AnarchyChess
In this position, black to move resigned. Easy puzzle: why did he resign? Hard puzzle: what winning move could he have played instead of resigning? : r/chess
Believe it or not, Qf6 loses the game. Can you find the winning combination? : r/AnarchyChess
Even though inaccurate, that pawn move was my favorite. Can you see why? 😊 : r/chessbeginners
This comic panel manages to get an impressive number of things wrong : r/ AnarchyChess
Every damn time : r/AnarchyChess
How do I prevent these stupid mistakes? The obvious answer is to slow down but I always find myself speeding up as I get into the rhythm and then this happens.
Why is this endgame winning for black? : r/chess
Can someone explain how sacrificing my Queen here is a bad move? : r/ AnarchyChess
Only 10% of philosophers can solve THIS chess puzzle, can you? : r/ AnarchyChess
