The Zipline is an interactable structure the player can find or build in Sons of the Forest. The Zipline allows the player to quickly and easily traverse over difficult terrain provided there is a direct line of sight between the two locations. Some locations in the game feature pre-existing Ziplines, but they are primarily a type of player-built structure. In either case, the Rope Gun is required to travel along Ziplines.
