XP-tan is a character from OS-tan. She is the personification of Windows XP operating system. XP-tan's nickname "Saseko" corresponds to the kana syllables "Sa" and "Se", which on a Japanese keyboard are on the "X" and "P" keys, with the "Ko" at the end of her name being a common ending for female Japanese names.
