Not to be confused with the Micro Uzis. The Uzi is an Israeli fully-automatic SMG developed by Major Uziel Gal in the late 1940s-1950s during the Arab-Israeli war. Because of its use of a telescoping bolt (a technology borrowed from the ZK 476), the weapon was smaller than other SMGs from its time. The magazine/grip is nearer towards the center of the weapon, making the Uzi a more ergonomic design and allowing for more intuitive reloads. The weapon has an emphasis on close-range power. In-game
