Soundwave is a major antagonist of the Transformers Aligned continuity. He is the communications officer of the Decepticons who also acts as Megatron's spy and is his most trusted and loyal Decepticon. In Transformers Prime he chooses not to talk, preferring to communicate through replayed voice recordings. He sometimes uses Laserbeak for missions, who usually rests on his chest.
