Paradox Pokémon (Japanese: パラドックスポケモン Paradox Pokémon) are a group of Pokémon found in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They have two subgroups: one made of Pokémon resembling ancient relatives of contemporary Pokémon (Scarlet) and one resembling futuristic relatives of contemporary Pokémon (Violet). They are all gender unknown and unable to evolve or breed, and—with the exceptions of the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon—their names do not follow regular naming conventions.
