On 21 May 2010, Google created an animated logo to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man's original release. Players were able to interact with the "doodle" and play just like a classic Pac-Man game. Like all Google Doodles, the Pac-Man Google Doodle had the company's name on it. It was a different shape than classic Pac-Man games, as it was more rectangular than the original mazes.
