But his life changes when he meets Hiyori, a girl who tries to save him from being run over. With the help of Hiyori, whose soul separates from her body more often than is desirable, and Yukine, the spirit of a troubled teenager whom she employs as a Sacred Treasure, Yato tries to put his dark past behind him and fulfill his dream of becoming in a popular god.
