Nate is the male player character in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. His female counterpart is Rosa. In the Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 animated trailer, he was voiced by Miyu Irino in the Japanese version, and by Tom Wayland in the English version, while in Pokémon Masters EX, he was voiced by Miyuki Kobori in the Japanese version, and by Kyle Castellani in the English version. Nate is a Pokemon Trainer who trains hard to become more stronger by defeating many opponent trainers as soon as possible
