After protests from the gallery, you are permitted to live, but the King of the City and head of the "Camarilla" sees you as someone to do their bidding. Your story begins in Santa Monica. An article in Rock, Paper, Shotgun got me interested in playing this game again. Despite it's many flaws it was a decent game, particularly if you like the world of Vampire the Masquerade. Unfortunately it seems though the game might finally be falling to the test of time. Even with the unofficial patches you can see that the opening segment is pretty glitchy.
