Ondina is one of the deuteragonists of the second and third seasons of Netflix's original television series Mako: Island of Secrets. She and Mimmi go against the Mermaid Council's wishes and tries to remove Zac of his powers, until Ondina falls in love with the merman, Erik until he betrays her trust after enacting the merman chamber on Mako Island despite her warnings.
