Kevin Conroy was a voice-actor who first played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Animated Series. He returned to the role on several occasions both in and out of the DC Animated Universe. After several auditions, the team behind Batman: The Animated Series heard Conroy's Batman and Bruce Wayne voices and realized that they had their Batman.
