John Doe is the antagonist of the horror visual novel of the same name, becoming obsessed with the player and stalking them. Due to how horror games blow up, and the fact John looks like that, it makes sense people started to thirst over him. During the 4th ending route, he pulls a Monika and edits the game's UI to make you unable to leave him. The 6th ending route also features him literally breaking the fourth wall by smashing the camera. Doe is very clearly a goth, and is confirmed to be one.
