*Bendy and the Ink Machine* is a video game that was released in five separate chapter installments from February 2017 to October 2018. The gameplay is largely focused on survivor and horror elements, which have the player defeat unusual monsters as they attempt to escape from a fictional animation studio. After the release of the fifth chapter, console ports for the entire game were published by Rooster Teeth Games. Many players of the game praised *Bendy and the Ink Machine* for its interesting story and early 1900’s cartoon-inspired visuals, eventually leading to a sizable amount of merchandise being created by various manufacturers.
