Ingrid (Old Norse: Ingiríðr) is a slave serving Queen Gunnhild and King Bjorn in Kattegat, and later becomes Bjorn's second wife. Gunnhild notices that Ingrid keeps looking at Bjorn and confronts her. Ingrid denies that she is attracted to him and leaves for the market. After Gunnhild catches Bjorn having sex with Ingrid, she suggests he take her as a second wife and he does. This results in Ingrid going from a slave in Kattegat to a queen of Kattegat.
