Rurouni Kenshin is the hugely popular franchise based on Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga which features the wanderings of Himura Kenshin who was once a fierce and bloodthirsty assassin during Japan’s Bakumatsu period but since the advent of the more peaceful Meiji era has chosen to wander Japan offering help to all who need it in order to atone for the lives he took as a soldier. This fantastic non-articulated statue from Tamashii Nations’ Figuarts Zero lineup perfectly recreates his appearance from the anime and manga down to the scars in the shape of a cross on his left cheek. The set also includes two different heads so you can display him with either his normal intense expression or the feirce “Battousai” look with eyes narrowed. With the second live-action film just released in Japan, there’s never been a better time to add to your Rurouni Kenshin collection!
