Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman sequel, featuring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal, has been delayed several times throughout 2020, and speculators were expecting it to shift to a 2021 release. But Warner Bros. now says the DC Comics movie will come to theaters and HBO Max simultaneously on Dec. 25, with no additional streaming fee for subscribers. Director Patty Jenkins issued a statement saying "the time has come," and urging fans to see the film in theaters in areas where it’s safe.
